Online registration for the 2nd Annual Conference on “Plant Microbiomes” in Lemesos, Cyprus, in June 2025
The MiCropBiomes COST Action will hold its 2nd Annual Conference on “Plant Microbiomes” in Lemesos, Cyprus, from 17 to 19 June 2025. 60 to 70 participants are expected to attend the conference. Scientific presentations and poster sessions serve to exchange knowledge and share technical expertise on plant microbiomes and their response to biotic and abiotic stress factors. Plenary and working group sessions will serve as a platform to discuss the strategy for achieving the project objectives and the grant period goals.
The conference will address topics of all five Working Groups:
WG 1: Exploiting Plant-Microbiome molecular crosstalks: diversity, distribution and eco-evolutionary perspectives
WG 2: Crop-Microbiome assembly dynamics under specific environments
WG 3: Crop microbiomes and plant diseases: from dysbiosis to increased defenses
WG 4: From current microbial inoculants to synthetic communities
WG 5: Communication and engagement with the society
As a social event, there will be a visit to the Archaeological Site of Kourion on June 19th.

The deadline for registration and abstract submission is April 18, 2025.
The expected date for notification of acceptance is April 28, 2025.

I would like to express my interest in participating in the 2nd Conference of MicropBiomes. I am not an MC member of this COST action, thus I have send an email message to the leader of the action Prof. Conceiçáo Santos, on April 10th expressing my interest to participate as an invited speaker. However, as I have not yet received an answer and searching the conference website I am contacting you to explore if there is still a possibility.
