2nd Annual Conference on “Plant Microbiomes” in Lemesos, Cyprus, from 17 to 19 June 2025
The MiCropBiomes COST Action will hold its 2nd Annual Conference on “Plant Microbiomes” in Lemesos, Cyprus, from 17 to 19 June 2025. 60 to 70 participants are expected to attend the conference. Scientific presentations and poster sessions serve to exchange knowledge and share technical expertise on plant microbiomes and their response to biotic and abiotic stress factors. Plenary and working group sessions will serve as a platform to discuss the strategy for achieving the project objectives and the grant period goals.
The conference will address topics of all five Working Groups:
WG 1: Exploiting Plant-Microbiome molecular crosstalks: diversity, distribution and eco-evolutionary perspectives
WG 2: Crop-Microbiome assembly dynamics under specific environments
WG 3: Crop microbiomes and plant diseases: from dysbiosis to increased defenses
WG 4: From current microbial inoculants to synthetic communities
WG 5: Communication and engagement with the society

Online registration is possible since 1 April 2025. The deadline is set for 18 April 2025.
Hello, is it any possibilities to get funding for this conference?
Dear Inga, MC members like you will receive an invitation from the grant holder in Portugal and thus your trip will be financially supported. Other participants will have to apply with poster or oral abstracts and acceptance and funding will depend on the outcome of the evaluation of their proposed contribution. Hope this helps, Ralf
