Job Opening: Postdoctoral Researcher in Agrobiodiversity and Plant Microbiome Research (Barcelona Area)
The Center for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG) is looking for a Postdoc Researcher to be part of the group Rosaceae Genetics and Genomics. The candidate will study the leaf microbiome communities in an apple collection planted in six European locations and managed under different conditions. He/she will perform the bioinformatic and genomic data analysis in a large sample set of more than 4500 samples of apple leaves to determine attributes such as diversity parameters, networks and key taxa involved in stress resilience of cultivars in different environments. Also, he/she will conduct GWAS analysis and will contribute in predictive models to identify new loci and candidate genes that regulate microbiome-mediated stress response.
